Helen Elizabeth McCrory OBE was an English actress who lived from 17 August 1968 until 16 April 2021. She made her stage debut in The Importance of Being Earnest in 1990 after training at the Drama Centre London. Other theatre roles include Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's Globe production of Macbeth, Olivia in Twelfth Night, and Rosalind in the West End production of As You Like It. Both The Queen (2006) and The Special Relationship (2006) starred McCrory as Cherie Blair (2010). She also played Françoise in Charlotte Gray (2001), Narcissa Malfoy in the final three Harry Potter films, Mama Jeanne in Martin Scorsese's family film Hugo (2011), Clair Dowar in James Bond's Skyfall (2012), Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders (2013–2019), Emma Banville in Fearless (2017), and Kathryn Villiers in MotherFatherSon  (2019).
